Last year, Amazon released the Onsite Associates Editorial Program beta. Through this program, participating content providers (i.e., publishers) earn affiliate commissions from Amazon for qualifying purchases. 🔑
It’s an extension of their Amazon Associates program, which was designed to utilize third-parties’ product-related content to enhance customer reach and product discovery. 👁🗣 These onsite editorial recommendations are a designated PR section on a keyword search result page that highlight accolades or important features of your product.
We’ve conducted our own case studies here at Vendo and have come to some hit-or-miss conclusions. However, when the program is its most effective, there can be some significant gains, such as a 50-70% lift within the first month.
