CONTEXT

A brand in the supplement category wanted to increase their repeat customer rate and drive more recurring orders. VENDO proposed implementing Subscribe & Save (SnS) Coupons.

Tactics

  • Subscribe & Save Coupons allow you to offer additional discounts to customers on products that are enrolled in Subscribe & Save. The coupon discount is applicable on the first delivery only, then the customer gets the regular SnS discount for all recurring orders.
  • We implemented a 20% off one-time use SnS Coupon on 13 eligible products for 3 months

Conclusion

Without the coupons, subscription customer growth in the previous 3 months averaged 0.63%. In the 3 months after implementing the SnS coupons, subscription customers increased by an average of 2.16% month-over-month, representing a 243% change in subscription growth rate. Overall, subscriptions had a total 3-month increase of 6.63%.

SnS sales increased by an average of 4.5% month-over-month, for a 14% increase over the 3 months. This is an 88% increase compared to the previous 3-month period with no coupons.
